I. CỘNG, TRỪ HAI SỐ HỮU TỈ

    Với $x = \dfrac{a}{m}$, $y = \dfrac{b}{m}$ ($a,b,m \in \mathbb{Z}$, $m>0$), ta có:

$\boxed{x \pm y = \dfrac{a}{m} \pm \dfrac{b}{m} = \dfrac{{a \pm b}}{m}}$

Ví dụ: Tính: 

a) $0,6 + \dfrac{2}{{ - 3}}$ 

= $\dfrac{6}{{10}} + \dfrac{{ - 2}}{3}$

= $\dfrac{3}{5} + \dfrac{{ - 2}}{3}$

= $\dfrac{9}{{15}} + \dfrac{{ - 10}}{{15}}$

= $\dfrac{{9 + ( - 10)}}{{15}}$

= $\dfrac{{ - 1}}{{15}}$

b) $\dfrac{1}{3} - \left( { - 0,4} \right)$

= $\dfrac{1}{3} + 0,4$

= $\dfrac{1}{3} + \dfrac{4}{{10}}$

= $\dfrac{1}{3} + \dfrac{2}{5}$

= $\dfrac{5}{{15}} + \dfrac{6}{{15}}$

= $\dfrac{11}{15}$

II. QUI TẮC "CHUYỂN VẾ"

Qui tắc: Khi "chuyển" một số hạng từ vế này sang vế kia của một đẳng
thức, ta phải đổi dấu số hạng đó.

Ví dụ: Tìm x, biết:

a) $x - \dfrac{1}{3} + \dfrac{1}{6} = \dfrac{1}{2}$

                     $x = \dfrac{1}{2} + \dfrac{1}{3} - \dfrac{1}{6}$

                     $x = \dfrac{3}{6} + \dfrac{2}{6} - \dfrac{1}{6}$

                     $x = \dfrac{2}{3}$

b) $\dfrac{5}{2} - x - \dfrac{1}{2} = 3$

                  $ - x = 3 - \dfrac{5}{2} + \dfrac{1}{2}$

                  $ - x = \dfrac{6}{2} - \dfrac{5}{2} + \dfrac{1}{2}$

                  $ - x = 1$

                     $ x = -1$
